Today's your birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JONELLE! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Just remember....step away from the birthday cake!!! Although I do have a confession to make....I ate eclairs last night. Bad me!!!! Anyway, I paid for it. Up one and a half pounds this morning. I know better than to cheat the night before weigh in. I am back on track and will show improvement with next weeks weigh in.

I need suggestions....help!

I am frustrated and I need your help.  Baring teeth It seems that unless I eat 1100 calories and exercise for an hour 7 days a week, I do not lose any weight.  I know that my body is metabolically resistant but this is rediculous.  I have to be honest first and say I have not been working out like I should.  My failure to plan is what is getting me.  My life has been really hectic this week and because I didn't have the time built in to my schedule for workouts, they were almost non-existant.  Then, 2 out of the 7 days I didn't eat much all day (work took over) and I overate later in the evening.  It wasn't intentional that I skipped meals.  I am a realtor and my schedule isn't one set schedule.  If someone wants to see property or list a house, I need to rearrange everything else to accommodate them.  Especially in this market.  It just makes me crazy because if I miss counting one raisin I gain weight.  Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh. I actually didn't gain or lose this week. How disappointing. I also feel guilty because my house is a disaster and my kids need my attention so when something has to go it it usually my workouts.
 
All this is really just an excuse though isn't it?  I guess if I were better prepared I would have things at the office to grab in a hurry and I guess I could have told a client that certain times didn't work for me.  I know I MUST plan and if this were easy everybody would be thin.  It's just hard to stay motivated.  I will take any pearls of wisdom anyone can give.

HPIM0045So, here I am working out and looking good (ha, ha) on my beloved treadmill. Tomorrow is our big day. Thanks to Jonelle we now have a personal trainer. I am so excited about stepping up my workout.

I'm so excited...and I just can't hide it!

Well end of week 2 and I didn't do as well as I'd like but I did manage to lose 2 pounds so I should be happy about that.  That's not what I'm excited about.
 
I went to Karate 3 times this week and it was hard but I went!  Right now I don't look like a 3rd degree but I'll get it back.  That's not what I'm excited about.
 
Yesterday at work I met the new girl.  In our convo she told me she is a personal trainer.  Smile So of course I had to ask her, "If you train me, will you yell at me Baring teethlike Jillian?  Will you tell me to GET UP and DON'T QUIT?"  She said she would.  She said she prefers to work out like that.  She is getting ready to train for Mrs. Fitness USA competition or something.  My own personal trainer...NOW THAT IS WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT!
 
She is going to meet with Daria and I to assess our goals and then we'll start.  Hopefully in the next few days.  I didn't think I'd be able to afford the trainer but it is affordable and I thank God for putting her in my place of work, like it was meant to be. Woooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooo!
